cumgirl8 met in a sex chat 8000 years ago in another metaverse. Made up of Lida Fox (bass), Veronika Vilim (guitar), Chase Lombardo (drums) and Avishag Rodrigues (guitar), the band render the immersive and chaotic energy from cyberspace into our world, coming together to make a boundary-less sound that brilliantly stretches across the likes of ESG, Cocteau Twins, Suicide, CSS, B-52s, The Shangri-Las, Chris &amp; Cosey, Madonna, and many more.

Il nuovo album, dal titolo 8106, uscito a Marzo 2024, è un mosaico del mondo di Asia Martina Morabito: i dolori della crescita dei primi vent'anni, la fedeltà ai propri sogni nonostante l'ostilità dell'età adulta, i luoghi di fuga sia reali che immaginari - e il pulsare di Bologna, sua casa e stella polare. La proposta più rauca, grezza e giocosa di Sleap-e, intrisa dell'influenza dell' egg-punk, un genere nato su Internet che cerca di satireggiare i tropi del punk con la sua irriverenza ballabile. Asia ritiene che il rifiuto di conformarsi sia fonte di gioia e che l'abbia avvicinata a se stessa come mai prima d'ora.
